Beach Information:
Larnaca Beaches
Larnaca has some of the most beautiful sandy beaches that stretch for miles
along the coast of Larnaca. Most of these have bars and restaurants, and hotels,
and offer full facilities for swimmers, sunbathers and the more energetic.

McKenzie Beach
McKenzie Beach is situated on the outskirts of the city centre, only a few minutes drive from the airport, with good parking. The beach is famous for its beautiful white sand and clean cooling waters. At the beach area you can enjoy many types of water sports, or relax in comfort basking in the sunshine.
There is also an excellent selection of restaurants and bars, which are well-known among locals for their fresh seafood and Cypriot cuisine.

Finikoudes Beach
Finikoudes is a very popular beach with tourists, as it is the main beach of Larnaca town, with Larnaca front stretching along behind it. The area boasts the full range of beach activities, and entertainment as well. A range of loungers and parasols can be rented to relax on, and with the huge range of restaurants and bars, from KFC to The Brewery behind you, you are not far
from refreshments of all types.

Dhekelia Beach
Dhekelia Beach is the largest of Larnaca's beaches and goes on for miles. It forms the backdrop for many of Larnaca's four and five-star hotels and resorts. There is a range of facilities at the beach area, including both hotels and public areas. Most hotels will let you use their facilities for a small daily fee. There are also lots of water sports on offer as well as other beach activities
such as volleyball. The variety of restaurants along the Dhekelia road that runs the length of the beach is extensive, from designer fusion lounges to avernas, you are never far away from good food.

CTO Beach
Locally known as Pyla Beach it is also located on the Dhekelia Road, and has good parking. This beautiful sandy beach also offers various water sports, volleyball and has a small football pitch on the sand. There is a small play area that is ideal for the children to enjoy. This area is also in eyesight of the relaxing bars and restaurants where you will find several restaurants serving excellent lunchtime menus including local meze and of course superb salads.
A great place to visit to relax, unwind and enjoy the sunshine into the early evening.

Faros Beach - Cape Kiti
Faros beach is a small beach with facilities for a relaxing day by the sea. There is a beach bar and water sports available, with jet skis and more. The beach also has a sea barrier - ideal for small children to play in the sea, without the tide to worry about. Faros beach is a quieter beach that is perfect if you
prefer a more secluded setting.

Potamos, Bay and Beach
This beach and cove area is half way towards Aiya Napa, east of Larnaca, and it is a small fishing harbor on a creek. It is an idyllic place, especially early in the morning, when the fishermen are returning with their night's catch. There are two tavernas serving fresh caught food all day, and a couple of sandy
areas where you can park the car and walk 10 steps to the sea. This is where you really can have a relaxing, quiet day – with hardly anybody else about.
